My name is Jen.

I'm a 28 year old singer-songwriter from DFW, currently living in denison, just south of the red river.

​

i grew up on johnny cash and elvis, pink floyd and led zeppelin and george strait and trisha yearwood.

​

i write songs about who i am trying to be and how i see the world.

​

i work during the week as an evening news anchor at a local station.

​

it's a hard job but it gives me a great excuse to pick up a guitar and let off some steam when i get home.

 

(and usually great material for songwriting!)

i cover everything from nickel creek to chris stapleton to maren morris to vance joy, all sprinkled with original songs and a little bit of the blues.
